Joy Behar on Rosie O'Donnell & Sarah Palin

Joy Behar’s outspoken opinions on "The View" have landed her a new gig. She will be the host of an eponymous TV talk show on HLN. "I have a background perfect for this job," Behar jokes at the Television Critics Association press event for her new series. "I was married, divorced, gave birth and was a high school teacher." Behar says the impetus for the show is that there are topics that she would love to discuss more than the time that "The View" allows. The program will examine provocative watercooler issues that Americans are talking about every day, with topics ranging from pop culture to politics and everything in between.
