My younger brother has been freaked out by clowns since he was a child, when we allowed the poor kid to watch the movie Poltergeist at about five years of age. He never recovered. There is sort of a tradition in the Minnesota branch of our family where the happy couple gets totally screwed with after the wedding ceremony - people filling their car with hay during the reception, or jacking up the car and removing the tires, etc.I knew that my brother and his new wife would murder me if I pulled anything like that. So, as the Best Man, I decided to do this instead: contact the limo company and offer the driver cash to jump out of the car wearing a terrifying clown mask. So, the moments before the prank very stressful. I think I told my Uncle Pat to "clear out" or something in the video because he was in my shot. My brother claims that he starts to strike the man in the face, but he catches himself and turns it into a "grab the clown's face" move. I'm not so sure that he was actually frightened, but I declare the prank a success, based on the pubescent kid's hysterical, femine, Joker-like laughter in the background. Just for the record - that is NOT me.
