KL Poetry Slam 2: Jacob Sam-La Rose

Jacob Sam-La Rose is a poet, writer, playwright, performer and educator. A former Poet-in-Residence at BBC London, he is a touring writer with the British Council. His programme of international appearances has taken him as far afield as Kiasma - the Museum of Contemporary Art (Finland), Chicago State University, Mylos Theatre (Greece), the Center of Contemporary Art in Glasgow, No Black Tie (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and London's Queen Elizabeth Hall, among many others. Brought to Malaysia for the second time by the British Council for a series of workshops with local poets in KL, Jacob performs during the intermission for the second KL Poetry Slam at The Loft@Zouk.
