This is a video clip that I made of a song by my favorite artist Lamya. I really liked her work because she was inarguably one who perfected her craft and only shared with us the best of what she created. Her first (and only) album released, "Learning from Falling", was a work of art from beginning to end. The songs "Black Mona Lisa" and "Empires" are the most noted from that album. My favorite song is "Never is Such a Long Time" about regretting to say those things we should have said to a loved one, only to run out of time due to their passing. Lamya passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009. I was heartbroken to say the least. I do thank her, though, for the treasures she left in her music and will do my best to continue to share her work with others. This video clip is of "Lady Borderline", one of her unreleased pieces. The full version can be heard at www.myspace.com/lamya1. If, and when, that page no longer carries this song, I will go ahead and make a video of the full song and share it here.
