Add a CommentIt was completely necessary for the tuba player to trip him. and the cymbal crash had perfect time. and because theres another video of the same thing, just going to the other side of the block, at the same point in the music I have to think that this is some kind of setup, but thats just my opinion a

Unfortunately, I have a nephew who is as out of control as the little boy running around and his parents are always making excuses for him. I'm hoping the Tuba player was his brother or cousin and tried to stop him from being a further embarrasement.

that wouldnt have been my kid because i would have been a good parent and tuaght my kid not to run around like that. the tube player didnt have to do that though but since he did it hopefully taught that kid and his parents a lesson

It's obvious the parents weren't watching so I'm sure the tuba player is safe. He didn't run back through the band so I think the tuba player made his point. If he weren't playing an instrument, maybe he could have reached out and stopped the child, but in the middle of a performance, that just isn't possible. For any parent to allow their child to run through a performing group while they are performing is unbelievably bad form.

You know, the kid didn't learn a lesson, because at the end of the video you can still see him running around in the background like a wild child! WHERE ARE HIS PARENTS!?! If that was my child I would of been embarassed when he was tripped for even letting him run around like that. Why didn't they get him back under control? If I was that sousaphone player, I would of tripped him as well. Someone has to punish him, his parents obviously dont!

Good! Since the parents obviously are not teaching him how to behave he has to learn somehow. I wouldn't have done that as a kid because my parents taught me straight away that it wasn't acceptable behavior and that there were consequences that I didn't want. Parents, learn how to take care of your kids or don't have them!

they would have to remove that tuba from his butt with a spoon if he triped my kid like that

I don't think anyone wanted the kid to be seriously hurt. But having to explain how he banged up his knee and maybe ripped his pants to his Dad before getting his bottom tanned will teach him a lesson. And, the Tuba player should be thanked not punished or sued. Out of control kids often leads to criminal teens.

Some kids have to learn the hard way...this was a great way! Parents dicipline your kids!!!

pain is a good thing. It's how you learn not to do the same stupid act again.
