Man near death bounces back from H1N1

Nearly dying is not something 33-year-old Tom Perkins ever expected to experience. But then he got the swine flu and there were complications. The Vicksburg man, who is otherwise healthy, is alive thanks to timing and successful medicine. Although Perkins remains on oxygen — and hopes to stop needing it next week -- he wants people to know H1N1 is survivable.
