Hi, it’s Wednesday, May 7, 2008 and I'm Melisse Hinkle with today's UPI Entertainment Update. Mario's Dancing With the Stars run has come to an end. The R&B singer and his partner Karina Smirnoff were voted off last night. At 21 years old, Mario is the youngest competitor to date and his exit came during the show's celebratory 100th episode. The beat goes on for the final four...Marissa Jaret Winokur, Jason Taylor, Kristi Yamaguchi and injured contestant Cristian de la Fuente. Barbara Walters is speaking out about two of her former co-hosts on The View. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the ABC front woman talked about what she called Rosie O'Donnell's emotional issues. She also told Winfrey it was hard for her and the other co-hosts to keep Star Jones' gastric bypass surgery a secret. But Walters reportedly says she's now made peace with the two women. And a Los Angeles family court is reportedly giving Britney Spears longer visits with her sons. Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline attended a hearing at the court Tuesday. The pop star's parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, apparently issued a statement saying they are so pleased with Britney's progress. Kylie Minogue is kicking off her European tour. The singer made her first stop in Paris yesterday, with a concert at Bercy. The Australian native is promoting her latest album, X. Minogue is reportedly planning additional performances in continental Europe, Scandinavia, Northern Ireland and London. Meanwhile, Madonna took to a Paris stage yesterday, with a private concert at Olympia Hall. The Material Girl played an electric guitar during part of the show, as she sang her way through hits from her latest album, Hard Candy. Madonna apparently plans to stop off in London for another private performance this month. That's it for now. Tune in tomorrow for another UPI Entertainment Update. Thanks for watching.
