Max Ramirez doubles during an August 28 California League game between the Bakersfield Blaze and the Modesto Nuts. The Venezuelan catcher was batting .303 with 12 home runs and 62 RBI with Single-A Kinston of the Carolina League. He was traded to Texas in July from the Cleveland organization for Kenny Lofton. He was also traded from Atlanta to Cleveland for Bob Wickman.
