Owl Creek Chase 2009

Plum was on hand for the 2009 Owl Creek Chase, a 21 kilometer Nordic race over a wide variety of difficult terrain. We spoke with announcer/coordinator Mike Trecker, Rebecca Dussault (Women’s 1st Place, SAAB Salomon Team), Matthew Gelso (Men's 1st Place, University of CO) and Tad Elliot (Men's 2nd Place, SAAB Salomon Team) about the intensity of this race, the mental challenge it presents as well as the history of Nordic racing in Colorado.
