Pool Promoted

Since December 11th, the Bismarck Bobcats have had an interim head coach...until today. Now, the 'interim' tag is off of Byron Pool. The Bobcats have announced that they’ve promoted him to the 'head coaching' spot. Pool's goal was to find a team where he'd have the full-time position, and the chance to stay in Bismarck was the scenairo he was hoping for. There are not very many markets in the North American (Hockey) League that has the type of atmosphere that the VFW (Sports Center) offers every weekend, so you have to look at it as probably one of the top three or four places to coach in the North American League, so to get my opportunity here is even extra special. Next up for Pool and the Cats are the Southern Minnesota Express on Friday and Saturday at the VFW Sports Center.
