Recycle Day

From paper, to plastic... You can make your effort to "go green" by recycling many products used on a daily basis. And state leaders are encouraging just that. Governor Hoeven proclaimed today, "North Dakota Recycles Day". The effort is to recognize the value of waste reduction, composting, the reuse of materials and buying recycled products. We caught up with one woman who was recycling today. She says dumping a bucket of plastic bottles in a recycle bin every month, is no big deal... has become second nature in the past few years. (Janae Donner/Bismarck) "Actually my roommate who I’ve been living with for awhile, she was doing it, and she's been doing it for awhile now, and she got me hooked on it, and now it's just a natural thing, I can't imagine throwing a bottle away in a regular garbage can anymore." The national "Recycles Day" theme is "It all comes back to you".
