Renault joins pull-out threat

The unrest in the Formula 1 circle is growing — Renault being the latest high-profile team threatening to quit the sport unless proposals to adopt a £40m budget cap in 2010 are shelved.It’s a controversial push by Formula 1's governing body the FIA, the 40 million pound budget cap mooted by FIA President Max Moseley for the 2010 season is the latest effort by the body to make the sport more viable in times of recession.But far from buying the idea, the teams are up in arms. After Red Bull and Toyota originally voiced their concerns its now the turn of Ferrari and Renault to threaten a pull out from the sport if the rules are implemented for the 2010 season.The message is clear and direct. Formula 1's biggest teams just don't like the new proposals.
