SAFI (Teaser HD)

This teaser was shot in the summer of 2007. It was filmed as rehearsels, not just for the cast, but also for the crew to get to know eachother and get a good feeling of the way I wanted to work. This summer I will be travelling to Maroc from the Netherlands by car, together with the director of photography and one of the actor's. Until december this year I will be writing the script and in the summer of 2009 we will shoot the actual film. It's a film about to friends making a trip to Maroc who discover they both have different paths to follow in life. It is a film about letting go in order to be able to start something new. If everything works out well, it will be shown at the International Rotterdam Filmfestival, januari 2010. 'Safi' is Maroccan for 'Ready' or 'Clear'.
