What is BJG? "B" for Bluegrass, "J" for Jazz, "G" for Gospel Una band per i...l sociale Che significa? Le finalità sociali in senso lato sono tre: 1) distribuire la felicità tramite la musica; 2) far conoscere ai giovani le radici di molta musica d'oggi: bluegrass, jazz, gospel; 3) raccogliere fondi per le finalità della Fondazione. L'idea è nata assistendo ai concerti di Bruce Springsteen in occasione della tournée firmata "Seeger Sessions". L'organico musicale è quindi quello: ritmica, fiati, strumenti a corde. Attraverso questo interessante modello di contaminazione si è proseguito però per una strada autonoma, attingendo in modo ampio alle radici del blues, del jazz, del bluegrass, del country-rock... e non solo, con arrangiamenti originali che beneficiano, nell'esecuzione, dei migliori musicisti di questi generi presenti oggi sulla scena musicale italiana.
