Simon & Simon-The Rough Rider Rides Again

A.J. and Rick go to the aid of former cowboy star Buck Yancey (guest star Stuart Whitman), who is suspected of murdering the film producer that had him replaced as moviedom’s famed hero, the Rough Rider. Broderick Crawford appears as the ill-fated producer, and other familiar names guesting in the episode include Pat Buttram, who was Gene Autry’s old movie sidekick; John Russell, who was television's "The Lawman;" and Alan Hale, a star of "Gilligan's Island."
