Teacher hits student

It’s not fair. The student aged 14 says his Math teacher has slapped him and pulled his ears. His parents say the boy was not rude and did not provoke the teacher at all. The bell rang and I entered the classroom, but I didn’t realize the teacher was in. Another teacher was physically abusing one of the students. I went to my place, I said “Hello” and then I looked at one of the girls and he came to me and pulled my ears and then he slapped me. He has hit me lots of times. He banged my head on the desk and when I didn’t know the correct answer he used to hit me. That’s the way he is. Rodica Lupsa I asked him why he had hit my son and he told me that he hadn’t hurt him just by slapping him and pulling his ears. And I told him he had no right to do this and he told me had the right to do it. The Math teacher’s colleagues support him and say he was right to hit the boy because pupils have become very rude. The Administration Board is going to discuss the matter and take a decision regarding the teacher. Although accused of having physically abused a student, the teacher says the student, who is the son of a local councilor, is to blame for this situation. I haven’t hit him; I have just pulled his ears. The boy’s parents are going to lodge a complaint against the teacher at Mures School Inspectorate and transfer their son to another school.
