Debonair Walter Richmond (Robert Horton) is really not one for snooping, but when he finds a delightful tennis partner in Laura Gild (Betsy Von Furstenburg) he just has to know more about her than appears on the surface. His researching presents an intriguing question: How did Laura’s husband Herbert (Raymond Bailey), presumed dead for six months, make bets on the horses three months later?
