RTE's 2008 powerful and beautifully filmed documentary "Children Beyond Chernobyl" picks up where the Academy Award winning "Chernobyl Heart" left off. The film examines the work of Chernobyl Children's Project International (CCPI) and uses moving, intimate stories to describe how the charity and its volunteers are making a difference in Chernobyl affected regions of Belarus. This fourth of 7 parts tells the story of Victor, a 5 year old boy who lived and died in a Belarus orphanage. CCPI volunteers tell about how Victor's short life inspired their own, and honor his memory with a funeral service at the orphanage cemetery. Later, CCPI founder Adi Roche take the film crew on a survey of the rarely seen "exclusion zone" of Belarus.
