There was no mention about how the dress felt--was it even comfortable? And I cannot wear cheap shoes whatsoever (and I don't have podiatry problems). How much pain is she going to be in at the end of the night? Is that worth the (wasted) money?
If you want a new dress, buy it and use accessories and shoes that you already have. A pair of black heels and a long faux pearl necklace are perfect for any party. (Leave it one long loop for a casual, double over for a classy.
What a waste of money... I mean, the outfit was nice, but there are more important things to spend $100 on, with or without a recession.
