The Savings Experiment - Fast-Food Challenge

We make home made taco's (soft) all the time... shop at the store that rhymes with baldi and you'll save a bunch of $$ . :) they have everything you need.

Locally in Poway, CA "Del Taco" has a great taco for .59 cents. Now that's a cheaper taco. I buy 4 at a time and have a great little meal. Should have went to "Del Taco" instead of Shmaco Schmell

actually her cost is way off and overpriced ( lettuce, maters and ground beef)....I feed 7 people with about 60 of them at a cost of 67 cents each...thats adding black olives and refried beans as well ( like a tostada has)...

but for one person eating a meal, the fast food would be the cheaper option. unless you want to have tacos for every meal for the next week.

She didn't factor in labor costs for her time at the grocery store.

Where the hell is this girl shopping? Trader Joe's where everything is twice the price than normal? WHO in their right mind pays $4.99 for a pound of ground beef or nearly $3 for an onion? In this economy? GET REAL.
