'The Soloist' spins his magic

Co-stars Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. shared the spotlight at the Hollywood premiere of "The Soloist." The screening took place Monday night (April 20, 2009) at the Paramount Theatre. In 'The Soloist,' a drama about the power of music, journalist Steve Lopez, played by Robert Downey Jr, discovers Jamie foxx’s character Nathaniel Anthony Ayers (Jamie Foxx), a former classical music prodigy, playing his violin on the streets of L.A. As Lopez tries to help the homeless man find his way back, a unique friendship is formed, one that transforms both their lives.
