On Christmas Eve, when his wife send him upstairs to put an end to his children’s fighting, Dad figures he'll tell a brief story that teaches them a lesson and be back downstairs in five minutes. Things don't work out quite according to plan, however, when his children, Scoop and Hela, take over the telling of the story, using it as a new battleground.
