Tom Hanks — legend in the making

Two time Academy Award winner, Tom Hanks has added yet another accolade to his kitty — the Chaplin award and a whole lot of Hollywood 'A' listers, most of whom are Tom’s friends stepped out to cheer for the actor on his big day.Tom Hanks said, "Look, this is the most intimidating thing on the planet, I don't know what to say, I don't know what superlatives or adjectives to put behind it."That's Tom Hanks on winning the Chaplin award. The veteran actor's A lister friends from Hollywood turned up to honor him at the the Film Society's 36th Annual tribute gala. Named after it's recipient, Hanks evidently felt the pressure. But his co stars and directors think he is the right guy for it.Tom Hanks said, "Am I thrilled? yes, I am more anxious that everybody just enjoys whatever show they have in store tonight, because I hope they're not bored by things I've asked them to come to. That would be bad."
