This is surveillance picture of a man accused of robbing commuters of their bank cards-- demanding to know their pin codes.The picture was taken on June 23rd at the Beverly Road Station in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.But most of the incidents took place in Manhattan and the Bronx.The list includes robberies or attempted robberies:On the b train in Harlem, an a train in Inwood, a one-train in Kingsbridge,A D-train in Bedford park, an a-train again in Inwood, another 1 train in Kingsbridge, a third hold-up on an a-train in Inwood, the 3-train in Brooklyn, on 1st. Avenue in the East Village,the c train in Washington Heights, and the 2-train in Brooklyn.And this month, 3 additional robberies, starting August 5th when police say a man sat next to a woman on the j-train in the middle of the afternoon at the Broadway/ Nassau Fulton station in lower Manhattan-- displayed a knife, and announced a robbery.Within the past ten days, two more incidents: August 9th aboard the C train in northern Manhattan, and then Friday on the f train in Jamaica queens.Police say in almost every case, the robber was on a southbound train. Most of the incidents happened in the afternoon or early evening.And in one case, at the 207th street station in Inwood, police say when a woman refused to hand the attacker her wallet, he slashed her-- leaving her with a cut on the cheek and a black eye.
