Trissur Pooram-Elanjithara Melam-Kerala

When exploreing India no one can ignore visiting the cultural capital of kerala Trissur.Housing the biggest temple complex called Vadakkumnatha temple.A temple for lord Shiva.But unique by its festival called Trissur pooram,A Festival of Festivals.A band of 30 elephants in all costumes,more than 500 top melam(orchestra) artists,performs the best of the best presentaion of their unmatched pagentry for 48 hours.on 27th Apirl 2007 and in April every year.This is an experience of a lifetime and here we present the famous Musical Orchestra named as "Elanjithara Melam" along with the pooram festival in the after noon hours of pooram.Normaly this will take more than 2 hours and we have tried to bring in the best part of it.
