UND Officials Looking into Hate Crime Incident

Three University of North Dakota students could soon face charges stemming from an incident police are calling a hate crime. Earlier this month, Scott Lebovitz said he came home to find swastikas and other slurs drawn all over his dorm room. Lebovitz is Jewish and says he’s been taunted for several weeks by a group of students. The aviation student said the harassment got so bad he moved out of his dorm into a fraternity house to escape it... (Scott Lebovitz, UND Student) And started using verbal harassment towards me through anti-Semitic slurs which then escalated to swastikas being drawn on the stairwell in my dorm and. (NOW WAS THIS ONE GUY OR A GROUP OF KIDS OR WHAT'S GOING ON?) It started with one guy and he spread out and it became a group. Campus police and university officials are investigating. They say once the investigation is finished, they'll turn their recommendations over to the State's Attorney's office.
