Wilderness Cache #12 (Victoria Plane Crash) I went up into the Sandia Mountains with Thoehn (Tom) and Ganelo (Mike) to a plane crash site to place my 12th a final Wilderness Cache of 2009. It was a very steep hike up the ridge to get to the plane crash, but we did it with no major problems. The small plane was shredded into hundreds of small pieces along the mountainside. There was 1 pilot on board that was carrying a casket with a body in it, no one survived, including the pilot!! It ...
