The trailer from Zac Efron’s latest flick is official. We've got the preview - don't go anywhere! I'm Dana Ward at the Clevver TV headquarters and we're super exciting to bring to you the Me and Orson Welles movie preview. This film has been on our radar since its early inception, mostly due to Zac Efron's starring role in the Robert Kaplow novel turned movie. Also sharing the silver screen is Claire Danes and Christian McKay. Efron plays Richard Samuels who is the teen cast in a 1937 production of Julius Caesar, as directed by a young and now legendary Orson Welles. Moving on to the trailer, this one seems like a fun character-driven film, and the clip definitely focuses on Zac. The trailer is fast, so we don't see TOO much acting or dialogue, but from what you can catch, Efron's character has to essentially sell himself - and I mean not literally - but he definitely has to prove to his co-cast on the theatre production that he's the right guy for the role... even getting the director to tell his mom that he just has to miss school for it! Plus, the whole period piece thing is a bonus, with costumes and props being just plain interesting backdrops for the movie. Another fun scene from the movie is when Orson demands Samuels sing a song. Efron's character hits a marching drum for a beat and sings a Wheaties commercial. The breakfast of champions definitely pays off... Me and Orson Welles hit the MOVIE theatre circuit late 2009. Thanks for watching our latest movie preview. I'm Dana Ward and we want to know if you're going to hit up Me and Orson Welles. Let us know your thoughts on the new trailer - opinions on Zac are welcomed too! See you next time right here on Clevver TV. Bye!
